Birth Certificate Question

My wife's BC is original from her time of birth but for a one issue.
The BC does not reflect her name as it was issued by the public health dept before they registered her name, but her parents name and all the other information are present.

Should i have to reapply for her BC or should this ORIGINAL be sufficient ?

Ask her to obtain 2 affidavits from her parents, (or from elderly relatives)
in the format you will find in the forum.

The birth certificate along with the affidavits should be proof enough.

You can also try getting a new BC with the name on it from Indian authorities.

thats what im trying in parallel
Im still waiting for P3 to come to me so i dont think i need to send the documents along with the P3 to NVC so im getting every thing ready
