I read through a few posts regarding Birth Certicates but I have a few unanswered questions .

1)If I request a BC now and if the Municipality checks the Hospital records and gives me the BC will it be accepted by the USCIS or do I still have to provide the affidavits ?

2)Also , I and my wife filed joint tax returns for the last five years . She has not been employed before ,but I was working on a H1 visa . Can we show these tax documents with I864 and I864A .

Will USCIS accept I864 from other relatives like my wife's aunt ?

Last, your petitioner (I_130) MUST be your sponsor, but a relative or friend can be your CO-SPONSOR, if you don't have enough income o savings!

Just to make sure ,
The Municipality can issue a BC in my name with today's date(issue date?) on it and it will be accepted ? Thanks again .
MUCHOS GRACIAS .

The "issue date" is not an issue - as the authority can issue a copy of birth certificate anytime (for example, you lost/damaged your previous BC and requesting a new copy). There should another date on birth certificate - "registration date" (the date when birth record was registered with authority). I have seen some USCIS adjucators omplained about this date when someone registered his/her birth record too late (for example, 30 years after the date of birth). Normally in that case they ask for secondary proofs - like affidavits, hospital record or any kind of document that contains applicants date of birth and parent's name.
