My birth certificate submitted for 485 has errors. Everything from my name to my parents name is misspelt and place of birth is wrongly mentioned as native town instead of where I was actually born. As far as the name goes, I have a gazette notification to show name change and I have my passport with the correct spelling of father's name and even have school certificates of mother with correct spelling. However the place of birth is still worrying me. While I still have not received a query, I am just thinking ahead to prepare for one. I had no choice but to submit a copy of what I had given the short window we had with the July 2007 filing, but in the event of a query, what are my options?
