Birth Cert. Question

Good morning everyone. What a great site we have here to hang on to during this waiting time!

My question is regarding BC. I have searched the site for answer but could not find a clear answer. So please clarify this for me.
My birth date is registered wrong (year & month is correct) with the muncipal. They are not willing to change it. I got affadavit from my parents stating the correct date, also got a BC from my embassy & I also have a school certificate with the correct date. Although, I have not received any RFE yet from USCIS, I am worried. Muncipal is not giving non-availability cert. I do have original BC with incorrect date.

I would like to hear from people on this issue. What else can be done.
My I485 was filed Feb 2005 so I still have a long wait but I would like to know what else can be done?

I am so worried & will appreciate your help.

Thanks,
RAK

Not sure how to handle. But if there is any RFE for non-availability certificate,
you can send a copy of your incorrect birth certificate and attach a letter
mentioning that your birth certificate was registered wrongly. Affidavits and
secondary proofs like school certificate, hospital record will help to support
your point.

Pralay: Thank you for your reply. What you described seems to be my only choice. I am just hoping for the best. :)
