Biometrics

I got a mail from csc today to appear for a biometriscs test (code 3). My lawyer told me that this is a new thing to expedite GC processing (really?), I have seen some other posts that mention GC approval within 10 days (even same day) after the biometrics. Does anyone else have the same experience?

If true, good one for us

Myself and wife's biometric done on saturday. They took finger print, digital signature and picture.

If we get GC within 10 days, its good for us. :p
But I dont think so, because we never know about INS processing.
See my signature.

Actually it is to speed up the plastic card processing (after your GC approval), not for GC processing itself. Sorry if it disappointed you.

Once your GC is approved, if USCIS has your digital photo/digital signature/digital index print, they can straight away print your plastic card without you going for passport stamping etc...
