biometrics scheduled, ID still in maiden name!

Very quick question to my immigrationportal angels:
I recently got married and sent in my I-130, 1-485, and general AOS paperwork. I have a biometrics appointment scheduled for this week.

I know I have to bring photo ID to this appointment. The (potential) problem is that I applied for my AOS in my new married name, but I don't yet have any ID with my married name on it as the wedding was just this month - all my ID (passport, Australian driver's license, etc) is still in my maiden name.

My maiden name is on my forms as an "other name used." Will they see this and let me use my "old" ID for my biometrics appointment? Or will I have to reschedule for when I have an official ID with my new married name, the name that I applied for AOS under? I changed my middle name as well as my last name, I don't know if that makes it more difficult.

Just to avoid the obvious answer, I don't have any US-issued ID so it's not as simple as going into the DMV and getting a new DL before the appointment. I'm planning to get a new Aussie passport with my married name in it as soon as Births, Deaths and Marriages in my home state processes my US wedding (this takes a few weeks, so I can't get it done before my biometrics appt.)

I know I can't be the only person with this issue... can I?

Just get the ID that you have, if you have a passport does not matter, just take a copy of your marriage certificate with you. They don't have your immigration forms or copy of them. The ASC Application Service Centers they are not immigration authorities. They just know that you have an appointment that date and check you in. When you go, you must fill up a form and if I am not wrong, there is a part that asked you for other names used OR maiden name.

Thousand of women are in your same situation when they decide to change their names...I did and I have no problem but I did have an ID with my married name when I went to take my biometrics, but in any case I never heard about somebody having an issue with it, obviously if you are in AOS most of the time you won't have anything or a previous US ID or some kind of ID with your married name. When I traveled my tickets are in my married name and my passport is in my maiden name and I travel a lot (twice a month) and never had an issue, actually they never asked for the name issues.

Good luck.

I had to show my passport or driver's license (maiden name) and my marriage certificate (married name), since my AOS application was in my married name.

I am in the same boat.. the only photo ID i have is my Australian passport, which has my maiden name on it, I just plan to take that plus my marriage certificate, and the forms they want me to take too.. if its not sufficient enough oh well, i dont think it would be a problem tho considering im AOS.. so they cant expect me too have too much stuff with my new married name, cant get my ssn until i get my EAD card..
Captiankit i think you will be fine with your passport or DL, and then just take a copy of ur marriage certificate.. =)

The copy of your marriage certificate is the only thing that makes the link in why your name is Smith instead of Bradford.
