Biometrics done-no follow up message

NO. It only changed after stamping once and another time after biometrics was done. Till Passport stamped (5/9) the LUD was 4/26 only. We received biometrics June 9th and done on June 17th. See details below.

I-485 AD 04-26-2005. LUD changed to 4-26/05
PP stamped on 05-06-2005, LUD changed 05-09-2005.
Biometrics received 06-09-05, done on 06-17-2005, LUD changed 06-20-2005.
Message changed from approval to Card Ordered 07-07-2005, LUD changed to 07-07-05
Message changed from Card Ordered to Card Mailed 07-09-2005, LUD changed to 07-07-05

My I-485 has been approved on 04-20-2005. LUD changed to 4-26/05
PP stamped on 05-02-2005, LUD changed 05-10-2005.

I have also applied for Card on the same day and finger printed also.

Will I get Biometric again?. If I get it again, do I have to go there for finger printing?

Did they take computerized index finger print separately and take computerized photo of yours with their system along with your original fingerprinting (All 5 fingers, code 3)? If YES, you won't get separate biometric (code 2 finger printing, only index finger printing and photo(both computerized)). If NO, then I assume you would get code 2 finger printing notice which you should go, that would then trigger card order in rapid card production system. But I don't know why it is taking so long for you to get the notice.

Whatever you did during passport stamping (index finger printing and the signature on a paper form and giving passport photos), is old way of applying for the card. That is not the way anymore. Hope this helps!

I have given Code 2 FP for EAD's recently, still do I have to go for another code 2 biometrics after approval of 485?, i did't get biometric notice yet..waiting.

Thanks for the info. I had my regular I-485 fingerprinting done last year ( April 2004 for 5 fingers and digital photo) and I also gave passport size photo + index finger printing while stamping on passport.

If I get biometirc (code 2 finger printing) notice, is it required to attend for finger printing?.

Yes, You have to give biometrics unless you got the card before biometrics notice or before the date of biometrics. Thanks
 
Card ordered before Biometrics.

Hi,

I got biometrics appointment in middle of this week but I got email saying my card ordered. Do I have to go for biometrics finger printing?.
