Biometrics code 1 Meaning

Hi All,
I had my first finger printing on Dec 12 , 2004, Second on August 2005 and yesturday I received my third finger printing for april 22nd. This is code 1 finger printing. Any idea what the code means . ?

Code 1 means you only have to do FP. I had to do mine for 3 times as well, the 1st time was at my interview, I had my interview first so the officer sent us for code 3 (pics, signature and FP), the 2nd time I had to redo my fp, the 3rd one will be on Apr 25th, but it didn't tell us why we have to go. I didn't appy for EAD, either.
Do you have to redo your FP or do you know why we have to do FP for so many times...?

FP expires after 15 months

Hence the need for repeated FP. I personally do not agree with this concept of FP expiry, though.
