Biometrics and FP

I am confused with these two. Neither i got a definitive answer reading thru threads on this forum.


What is Biometrics Code 1, 2, 3
What is Finger Printing Code 1, 2, 3

If one is waiting for priority date of 485

- Do they send Biometrics or FP or both?

- Is Biometrics code 2 and FP code 2 same?

How long would it take to appear on online msg after you finish your Biometrics.

The homeland security wanted to add a picture plus signature to the finger printing ... So they called it Biometrics... Well it looks like biometrics will have more features in future and for now -- its just fingure printing + digital picture + signature....
So a new buzz word.

I think there was no code for FP... Biometrics has -- Code1,Code2,Code3..... hmm wonder how many they will add in future....
Code 1-- is just old FP .. all 10 digits .. So U can say FP = Biometrics Code 1.

Code2 -- Picture + index finger FP + signature

Code 3 -- Code 1 + Code2


No message appears after U take biometrics ... but there is a LUD.

I received a Finger Printing notice with Code 2.
Also our Biometrics done last week didn't show any LUD
