fingerprint/Biometric mistake
i filled for an AOS/EAD through marriage to a U.S citizen. my receipt notice is dated october 14. it is now 7 months and the status of my AOS is still pending, the status of my EAD ,1-485, and 1-130 all say that i will be mailed a decision as soon as processing is complete.
However, i made one big mistake which was not doing my fingerprints and biometrics on time. i just got them done this week. it was really difficult getting a suitable date so i put it off for some. i take full responsibility for this mistake.
i looked at the processing dates of cases in my local office, and processing of EADs with my receipt date is past. it has been 7 seven months, and i have not gotten an EAD, obviously for my silly mistake.
can anyone please get me advice on what i should, and also, i would like to know if cases have been ever denied for not doing fingerprinting and Biometric on time.
