Biometric Code 3 ?

I have got a fingerprint notice for Code 3.

I read in one of the forums that "Code 3" comes in when your 485 is ready for approval. Is this true?

I applied for EAD, 485, 140 in Oct '04 (EB3)
140 is pending since then. Had 3 EAD renewals.

Priority date is in 2002. So I am not sure if I am close to approval :confused:

I did Code3 over a year ago. Still waiting.

Is that your second FP notification for code 3? Why has your I-140 been pending such long?
 
No, this is my first Code 3.

I am not sure why my I-140 is pending since long. There was an RFE in mid 2005 for experience letters and some company documents( employer didn't tell me what exactly was asked). Responded immediately, but the status hasn't changed so far.

Any ideas?
 
It’s not normal. Are you sure your I-140 is still pending? Have you checked the case status online? Has it been outside of USCIS I-140 processing date in your area? Do you think your experience letters have any potential problems from your formal employers? You really need to ask your employer about it.
