BIO after approval - Any experience

Does anyone have experience with BIO notice after approval . My case is approved but i didn't recive the GC even after 3 months After numerous calls to INS , finally got the reply that my BIO info is not available. I got my BIO code 2 done month before my approval(Aug 05). Don't know what went wrong. But can't argue with INS. So, now i have to wait until i get another letter to BIO appointment. How disgusting is that. :mad: :mad: :confused:
 
Thank you, Looserd for a great advice. You are absolutely right about Temp GC . I was told the same.
hmmm go to neareast office. I am little hesitant here.
Can you check with your friend if he walked with the letter to the office and was able to get the BIO done. Because when i called 800 number , the officer told me to wait for the letter. So, not sure if they would entertain me.
