Between two cities and last year of Green Card

Hello all

Just realized filling up paperwork for my new job that my GC is up early March 2014; received GC through marriage January 04,married to my one and only with a 9 year old son but I see a few problems
First is that my new job is in Ventura County but my wife and son are staying behind until the end of school year; I will be trying to 'commute' back up in Wine country every other week end or so; we own a house we lived in for 6 years now but will be renting a room .... so what address should be using to file a N 400?

Second,I can't find the papers from the previous marriage and have no clue where my ex lives ( last contact was over 13 years ago ) so how does one go about getting paperwork ?

Last but not least should I be trying to renew my GC as well or just go the N 400 route?

Thank you in advance for reading and answering

If you're going to be holding those two places simultaneously, decide which one is your primary residence and arrange your documents accordingly -- in particular, get your driver's license to have the address which you consider to be primary, and file your taxes using that primary address.

If you qualify to file from any of the 2 places due to at least 90-days of stay, then check which place has small USCIS Office, and is not situated close to a big city. Usually USCIS offices serving small districts have less work load (less immigrants) so chances of getting a faster case processing, interview and simultaneous interview/ same day oath will be much better in an area served by small USCIS office, than an area served by larger city office.
