This is a great forum and I learnt a lot from here. I have a very fundamental question, pl provide your thoughts:

Which petition will have better chance of success in general: an EB1-OR through employer sponsorship or NIW through self sponsorship ? My understanding is that NIW requirement is little bit relaxed than EB1-EA, so in that sense NIW is better shot if somebody compares between EB1-EA and NIW. However, when an employer sponsors for EB1 category in OR, the chance of success is certainly better when compared with NIW self sponsorship !!!

Any thoughts.....
 
You are correct. EB1OR is easier the NIW. At least in the more recent past. NIW has been getting a lot tougher. I received a tough RFE in spite of having decent credentials. Many others in the forum too.
 
File I-485 w/o I-140 receipt copy

Thank you guys. Here is my situation. My lawyer filed I-140 very recently and we do not have the receipt yet. My understanding is that, it may take several weeks in the current situation. Since, my PD is current, can I file for I-485 without the copy of receipt notice ? Is there any problem associated... any experience, any thoughts...
