Best choice for overstay in the US

Hi all,

I'm a Cdn citizen that entered the US as visitor in 2000 (no 1-95 was issued). Have been livin with my American gay b/f since that time. We've decided to go our seperate ways and I want to move back to Canada. I have a current Cdn passport, so I can fly back.

I've been told that I will be barred for 10 years if I leave the US. What can I do to take care of this BEFORE departing, i.e. papers, forms, etc? Or should I not even do this, since I'm going to be barred anyway?

What's my best choice?

Thx

If you cross at a land border they probably won't detect that you've been living here illegally all this time. Did they record your entry in the first place?

Hi,

No, they never recorded my entry, just asked me a few questions. Came in as a visitor and met someone, so I stayed. What do u think my options are?
