After around 9 years of journey, the end was so fulfilling for me. Yesterday as i took the the oath i was wondering. At one end i was happy to be able to complete my journey and fulfill my dream, on the other end was bereaved on losing citizenship of the Country was born and raised in. Country where my parents and family belong.
Anyway, as i walked out as a proud citizen nothing seems to be changed for me. It is still same job, same family, same people. No one except i know that i am a Citizen now. But, i feel very proud to be Citizen of the greatest country in the world where dreams do come true. As mine have. It is like choosing a friend. We don't pick our family but we do pick our friends. I have chosen to be in US and i am proud of my decision. May God bless America and USCIS and yes the founding fathers of this great nation.

Thank you guys and good luck to all of you. All i can say from my experience is that all your dreams will come true. It is just a matter of time. I can't believe it's been so longs since i started my journey to Citizenship and now it's over.
It will be over for you guys too, soon. Process is much faster and streamlined now than 4-5 years ago. GC time has reduced from 10 years to less than 2 months in some cases.
