I made a promise to myself that when I became a citizen I'll post a big THANK YOU to all of you and to Mr. Rajiv for this wonderful forum.
After 13 years, my husband and I, became citizens today. I'm sure it would've taken us a few more years if it wasn't for the help we got from this forum. It's been a long and tiresome journey, filled with drama :) up until the last minute... but we made it!

Cheers and blessings to you all.

CONGRATULATION
WHAT A GREAT HAPPYNESS...gosh i really want to be a citizen also...lol...did you go to your cop the time that you were resident? thanks for your answer and best wishes...lucky 13..lol

Oh, thank you!!! No, I didn't go to my cop, but also the officer at the interview never asked me that question. He just asked for my green card, no passport. My husband says he wasn't asked for a passport or travel to cop, either.

Hope this helps. We were very lucky at the interview, we were in & out in about 5-10 min. I guess when you come to that stage, they don't give you a hard time anymore. cheers

Congratulations. I am happy for you.

Please continue to help the members who are still in the process of getting green card, asylum, and naturalization. We do need people to continue helping.

We really missed THANKFUL. He provided so much help even after he became a citizen. Unfortunately, he had to quit because of the conflict of interest. (job-related issue)

Thanks so much!!! I just replied to you but idk were it went. Anyway, here it goes again: I remember Thankful and someone else Wantmygc (or something similar), these guys and some others whose usernames I can't remember right now, were of incredible help to a lot of people like myself.
If I ever manage how not to delete my own replies:) I'll continue to help with whatever I know:)
cheers

First congratulations...
Second, even though you expressed gratitude and appreciation for this forum and its members, you left out the things that make this forum wonderful. The details...how you got your asylum, your intervie; for example, the questions they asked...if you were following the forum, individuals who went through the interview posted the minute details of their interview...the time they went there, the look of the officer, whether he/she was stressed, relax happy etc...this detail is missing out on your post...if you have posted it some where else...apology...otherwise the spicy, choicy aspect is missing of your post
