They have always charged $25, but I always thought that the 2nd and 3rd FPs were free.

I never paid for the first time. May be it's the reason I haven't been approved yet ? I'll pay! I'll pay double! where do I send the cash ? ))))

Sure it wasn't bundled in your I-485 filing fee?

It's a $25 fee; payable with the same check as the I-485, or seperately. Trust me, if you got fingerprinted, you paid the $25.

2nd fp notice itself says this 2nd time fp is free of charge. I just now read my 2 months old 2nd fp notice .it says it is free of charge.

it is shame , online as well as phone message is old and same till today even after 2nd fp done.

Observation

I too have seen that message in the past while running the script. And what I've seen is that those cases will be transferred after a couple of weeks. Don't know what that means!

No, BCIS does not seem to be in a hurry to change the online msg. I did my 2nd FP on 8/5, but no change in online status yet. I recd a mail from someone who did 2nd FP 60 days ago but still no change.
