BCIS case status inquiry result

I have received a letter from BCIS after initiating status inquiry for my case. The letter says the following:

The status of this service request is:

Our computer systems show that your application is still pending Service consideration. Your application is currently in our processing unit under review. Please allow 60 to 90 days for any further inquires on this application.

..........


Does it mean that it has been already assigned to an officer or waiting to be assigned? Also, does it mean that FBI name checking is complete or not? Please some "guru" throw some light on this.

Not to disappoint you but it is a standard reply from BCIS. Useless one.

I also requested one last month. I got letter said as:

your case got delayed by some reason. I brought your case to our supervisor's attention. You should hear something within 45 days. It is almost 45 days. But I heard nothing yet.

any ideas?
