Hi Everyone,

I am a reporter for a Chinese newspaper in the bay
area. We are doing a story on the difficulty in
getting green cards through employment, and in getting
H1-b visas. If you have such personal experience or
know about people who have such experience, could you
contact me? Your information would be greatly
appreciated.

Hmmm,
There are horror stories upon horror stories.

Employment based green cards are so delayed. A person
I know filed for green card. It took forever and finally he
got laid off before he got a gc. He had no job for quite
some time. Finally he married a American woman and got
a GC in three months flat. So I guess American citizens
never see a problem with BCIS. They make sure of that.

Now I know how every person who files an employment
based GC feels like. To contribute thousands of dollars
to the American economy and still get jack is so unfair.
