I would like to meet up and attend this gathering. I am new in town and work in Walnut Creek. Not sure if I can make it there at 5.30 pm. Or can you re-assign the time to say 6 pm if all your members agree?

I can make it to the meeting, 5:30 - 6:00 pm whatever works best for most people.

Not to discourage your enthusiasm, but Walnut creek to Milpitas is quite a ride at that time. There will be a hell of a lot of traffic, unless you don't mind or have a carpool partner it may not be worth it.

How many people plan to come? If it is only the 3 of us, we might as well cancel and do a teleconference if needed. What are your views?
 
i think teleconferencing is a good idea....

So far, only 3 have confirmed.

140_takes_4ever, kashmir and cosmos. Teleconference may be a good idea. But I do not know how to go about it. Any suggestions?

But if it is not too much trouble for you guys, we can meet as well. I sure wouldn't mind meeting you folks.

I have just moved to the place near Milpitas, so I'd prefer meeting at Borders.
 
I am sorry but I am a little busy today, and though I was planning on make it, it might not be possible. Do you want me to set up a teleconference? It is really easy, and I can do that, but since there are only 3 people who plan to come, I would rather postpone to another day or teleconference this weekend. Let me know what you prefer.
