Hi, I just got 140 approved and I am new here, the box of prority date in my both 140 and 485 forms are empty, does anybody told me what my PD is?

140 RD: July 2004
140 AD: Jan 2006
485 RD: Jan 2005
485 PD ??

BTW, I am confused by the 485 processing time, USCIS NSC current is Oct. 2004, but the Visa Bulletin shows the date (EB2 for China) is June 2001
(http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_2757.html)

How to understand this? About how long I have to wait for 485 approved?
Thanks.

OK, here is the simple summary:
1. In your case, your priority date is the date you applied I140;
2. The process date shown on USCIS website means cases filed before this date are being processed or have been processed, some of them may have RFE issued, or denied, or approved, or simply pending for other criterions such as security clearance to be met;
3. Visa Bulletin date is set by State Department. Even though you have everything ready to get approval from USCIS, you have to wait till your priority date reaches the Visa Bulletin date when USCIS is able to issue the approve notice to you!

Good luck!

in simple words!!!
NSC dates means NSC is processing applications from oct 2004 (i guess its apr/may2004).there are certain numbers of GC allowted to particular country in a year after that is over you have to wait for next year.....as per that china is going slow and now they are processing june 2001.
