I am freaking out just thinking about it. I am facing BK, FC and I want to apply as fast as possible for these 2 things (I mean foreclosure takes time), but I need to US Citizenship as well. I wonder if they would approve or deny my application.
Never thought this is going to happen to me. I came to this country, I went back to college, I got my degree in accounting, a MBA, and I purchased a house with the intention to keep it. But my job pay went from $80,000 to $14,000 last year, and now I don’t have a penny saved and I don’t want to be dragged in this cycle that never ends. I have 2 kids, I am single and I just cannot afford it anymore, I cannot have my kids suffering to have the bank getting billions.
I wonder …. Should I include a letter explaining them the situation I am in? And I just cannot wait until the foreclosure ends… I need to apply in parallel for both. Please advise. I spoke with my lawyer, and he is going to get back with me next week. I will post the answer, maybe it helps someone else in the same situation.
The lawyer last told me that BK does not affect my application process. But now... he is delaying the answer.... maybe he is in vacation.
