Congrats to Nesd on his approval. Also next up is OS, OinkOink and myself for 10/31.
Retrieval of CP and BC remains a major cause of GC not being approved after the interview. INS is supposed to retrieve the I-140 prior to issuing the interview letter but I guess they are not doing it. It may be a good idea like KV29\'s to proactively work on getting the I-140 transferred back to INS from the respective consulate

Also I am posting may and June Xfers as I am unable to upload the whole file. The rest is posted as the first post to the discussion

From the interview experiences posted by the applicants: I have observed there are some immigration officers who are easy and some are really tough.
Some are egile, active and some of them are easy going. take it easy kinds(which affect approvals ie. like for those whose GC approvals have been hold for want of 140.
I guess it depends on individual immigration officer that how fast he or she retrieves the paperwork from either VSC or consulates.

This lady didn\'t approve my 485. The same known problem. I140 is not with them. standard answer- won\'t take too long.

Officers are assigned alphabets based on a particular day and the same officer does not get the same alphabet designation every day. The officers have guidelines and it does not depend on their whims and fancies to approve or not to approve 485 apps. They have been given specific directions to have the original I-140 before approving the AOS apps. Also they look for frauds and out of status issues.
 
Received Interview Call Letter on 11/02/2001 from Baltimore INS

The interview is scheduled for December 11th at 1 pm with Officer E for both myself and my wife.
