Hi, My Nov. 98 transferred to Balimore on May 16. 00. No word from them yet. I spoke to someone at the NVC as Baltimore has no phone #. He said the director there can waive interview for transferred cases. But, I found the guy I was speaking with very unhelpful and even worse not knowledgeable at all. So who knows.

Hi Eager, that is the National Visa Center # not Baltimore. They handle generic questions but not specific to Baltimore. That is the # I called and the guy I was speaking with was in Los Angeles. Baltimore doesn\'t take calls. I will keep you posted.

I also hoped that the interview could be waived, especially for the cases transferred "to speed processing." So sometime ago I went to Baltimore INS and ask IIO about it. The answer was: "All cases transfered to Baltimore will go through interview process."
