Baltimore transfers

I got mine and my wife's cases transferred to Baltimore today (6/13/03).
Do you have any idea how long it can take to get interview scheduled ?

I saw someone else posted on this board transferred to Baltimore, about 3-4 months
from the date it transferred.

When was your cases updated today

some time between 2pm and 5pm.

In previous days I saw a lot of transfers of Dec. cases (EAC-02-063-).
I think VSC tries to move the backlog to local offices.

Not necessary. I still see lots of 063 approvals.
You could argue the left overs are harder cases for them though. But who knows how those stupid "officers" think, their work manners need to be corrected somehow.

Could be you're EB1. Nation interest cases are all transferred since last Oct. Are you employee sponsored?

You are right, there are a lot of approvals as well.
In my case (EB1a), I filed for myself.
I have also O-1 visa and put a letter from an employer that I have a job till, at least, 12/2004.

I think, the fact that I filed for myself could be the reason.
It is too hard for an officer to evaluate such an unusual case...:)
Though I have I-140 approved in 2001 without a problem.

Do you have any clue that the Baltimore is fast ?
I was looking at other treads transfer-related, it looks like in other places it is a long wait. :confused:
