I am also checking out this site everyday, waiting to see any news. Nothing new with my 5/17 transfer, no interview scheduled yet.

Slow Down

I am sure the unfortunate events of last week have caused a major setback if not distraction in the INS processing of applications. I think we can all expect to see some slow down for the next several months as cases will be evaluated and scrutinized more closely.All we can do is hope that things get back to normal and not take a reverse course. Us immigrants are in the most vulnerable position with the economy weakening and this country being wary and suspicious.

I am also a 5/17 transfer (rcvd at BINS 5/25) and the last time I visited BINS I was told to expect a letter by Sep 25 (120 day deadline after transfer). Lets see if they keep up the word !

485 - BINS

I was at Baltimore INS last week inquiring about my application. The lady said that we\'ve to wait for another 90 days if not heard from \'em within the first 90 days. (Generous and courteous Answer). TD - 5/17
