Hello fellow Marylanders...I am starting a tracker for N-400 applicants who submitted their applications in April or at the end of March. This thread is meant for Maryland residents who will have to appear in Baltimore District office for citizenship interview. Other members are welcome to participate and share their experiences.

04/11/2011: Application received
04/13/2011: Received text and email - application accepted, NOA mailed.
04/14/2011: Check Cashed
04/15/2011: NOA I-797C received in mail
04/19/2011: FP Notice mailed (from online status)
04/21/2011: FP Letter received (scheduled for 05/11/2011)
05/11/2011: FP Done

Dear fellows, I did my FP on 05/11 and the online status changed to "Testing/Interview" on 05/13 stating i will be scheduled for interview soon. How long does it usually take to receive the IL from here. Also, is it possible to have an interview before FBI background/name check is complete. Please advise.

Faith2002: Can you please share your dates? When did your online status changes to "Testing Interview"? Was it similar to the one below or it says you're already scheduled for Interview? When did you receive the IL?

On May 13, 2011, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was placed in line for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a written notice with a time and place for your interview. Please check the website for further updates on your case. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address."

momo, mine still says 'in line to be schedule for an interview', and has been that way since the 13th. I didn't know that it changes again before receiving the interview letter. well, hopefully my changes soon. seems like baltimore office is kinda busy, but we'l see how soon your interview date is.

Actually, I didn't expect any change in my online status and I thought I would be receiving an IL soon. I guess the latest online message is an indication that my background/name check is complete. I think you will receive an update soon as I don't really think Baltimore office is busy compared to other districts.

5-13-2011: Status Changed to You are in queue for scheduling an Interview

nope... still stuck at in line to be schedule for interview. hope there is some changes soon...did you get your interview letter and what date are you scheduled for interview?

I am assigned to the Baltimore Office. I am kind of worried, do not know what to do! I check everyday, and yet nothing.

05/02/11: Mailed N-400 (Dallas lock box)

05/12/11: NOA sent
05/16/: FP scheduled for 06/07/11
06/07/11: FP done - walk-in
06/09/11 until 06/23/11: Online change of status to testing and interview. N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was placed in line for interview scheduling ....

Quick Update 06/28/2011 Online Notification. ID scheduled, but still waiting for the letter in the mail! Hope it gets here by Wednesday!!

I'm pleased to see other Marylanders join this thread and I'm encouraging the silent ones to break their silence and share their experiences.

Question: is there anyone who recently went through the N400 interview in Baltimore? Whatever the outcome was, it would be beneficial to share and express your opinion.
