does Vermont give her any reason why her approval is canceled in the letter?
and her case is employee-based or family
based? if you can give more detail, it will more helpful.

Is she Indian citizen?. Employment based or family based?
When she attended inteview and who is the officer??
I think early oct there was no interviews cuz audit process.

Guys,, anybody received plastic cards recently......(oct stamped guys).

She had interview on Oct 16 and thats when got passport stamped. Including her husband and daughter.

She is from India and it is an employement based greencard process. She had her interview with Officer F.

She has not been able to talk to her lawyer. And I personally have not seen the letter. But based on my conversation with her, the letter implies that they recently received some NEW information about her.

It seems too vague! I have no idea whats going on! And kind of scary!

I had my interview on 23rd and got passport stamped on 25th. And I have not received the card so far.

If any one is in the same position, please share your views!!

It looks like her 140 had been revoked.
because she got her approval at baltimore on Oc6 16. And got vermont cancelled letter after only two weeks.
only way vermont can act so fast and so sure, it is her 140 had been revoked for whatever reason.
pls keep us update. it is really scared

what can be the possible reasons for revoking I 140. If that is the case, what are the chances for retaining green card?

Did your friend talked to IIO or lawyer.
IF you get a change why dont you find out what was the
exact problem???

SHE IS DOING

I already wrote earlier, her lawyer is not that cooperative. The lawyer is already fully paid.

As of yesterday, no luck of talking to the lawyer in person.

My friend does not know what the letter is implying to. The essence of the letter is that "INS found some new information recently." It does not explain what they found. No details. Wheather it is related to LC or I 140 or I 485.

Sorry we do not have anything new to post

Both Baltimore and VT said they can not give any further information re: cancelation of 485 approval.

No idea where to go. or hire a new lawyer.

Transferred to Baltimore and got an interview date

Hi

My I-485 case (RD: Sept, 2001) was transferred to Baltimore office on Sept. 23, 2002. Last week, I went to the Baltimore office in person and found out that my interview date is Nov. 21, 2002.

I asked for a copy of my interview notice letter and she told me that it will be mailed to me via the postal. Just curious.. How long will I receive my interview letter? I hope I will receive it this week.

Guys, Did you need to show your interview letter to an officer when you went for the interview?
