Baltimore Interview Notice Recieved

My wife and I recieved our notices yesterday (09/11) for an interview scheduled on 10/03.
Standard notice asking us to bring Drivers License and Passport.
My details:

   PD : 07/97
   EB2 India
   RD : 03/99
   ND : 03/99
   FP : 03/00
   TD : 06/09/00
   ID : 10/03/00

Interview Notice was dated 09/11 and reached us on 09/12.

My RD is 07/99 and ND 08/99 and my application was transferred to Baltimore on June 13 2000.

I have a couple of questions

Did you receive the mail through certified post or ordinary mail?

Does the FP processing have to be completed to get the interview letter or are they indepenedent?

I recieved it thro ordinary mail.
I think the FPs have to be complete before they schedule an interview.
But if your case does get picked for a schedule and they see a missing
FP, they will schedule an FP appointment between the date of interview
notice and the interview date.

Thanks for the reply. I have already given my FP on 06/21/2000. I wasn\'t clear in my previous mail. What I wanted to know was whether the FP has to be approved by the FBI in order for an interview to be scheduled? Sorry about that and thanks in advance...
