Baltimore:I-485 for spouse of US Citizen

Good morning to everybody,


I have a quick question. I am planning to apply for my wife to get her GC. She is currently in the US and she is eligible since I will be a US citizen soon. How long does it take for someone to receive his/her GC from the Baltimore office? Any timeline would be much appreciated.

Normally less than six months, unless the case gets delayed due to security checking. The interview is typically in about 4-5 months in Baltimore.

Hi,

I would like to know how long it would roughly take to transfer an N-400 application from the Texas Service Center (TSC) to the Vermont Service Center (VSC) then Baltimore. Just give me a rough estimate.

I requested to have my application withdrew from TSC since I have moved to Silver Spring few months ago from Florida. I have even sent a change of address. I received yesterday a notice to have my fingerprints taken in West Palm Beach the 20th of August. I am thinking about flying to West Palm Beach, take these fingerprints, then ask my file to be transferred to VSC/Baltimore.

Would it be better to withdraw my application and refile it in Baltimore via the VSC?
Do you think it is a good idea? Any suggestion would be much appreciated. I am expecting some delays.
