Looks like the Balloon boy's dad pleaded guilty under pressure facing his wife's deportation. She must be on GC !!!. Another reason to get citizenship. Not advocating fraud but sometime people get in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I bet he forced her to support him in this fraud. There were reports that he was abusing his wife.

"Even though Mr. Heene would have a triable case, I believe, to avoid the risk that his wife is deported ... we have decided that the best course of action is to proceed as we are proceeding," Richard Heene's lawyer, David Lane, said Friday.
