Hi guys, I am new to this forum and I need some advice. I got laid off today from my company. What are the options open for me. Getting a new job would take some time. Am I in status ?.

EB2
RD May 18th 2001
ND Jul 3rd 2001
EAD June 2001

Yes, you are in good status!

You should get approved anytime soon since your RD is May 18.
We\'ve heard of May 18 being approved already!!
But try to find a job as soon as possible just in case the INS issues a RFE (Request for Evidence). Try to find a job in the same domaine you were.

From your RD I think your case should get approved in couple of weeks. Also you have got EAD at hand, so just go ahead find another job. you should be all right.
BTW: I think this also means you are no longer stuck with your sponsor, meaning you don\'t have to serve your sponsor for another 6 months if you don\'t want to.

Thank you all. That was really encouraging. I might find a job but would take some time. Hopefully, If I think positively and move ahead I might successed
