Bad experience of contacting Senator Schummer (NY)

About 2 years ago I sent him a letter asking for help with my pending 485, since a lot of my peers got approved (I have RD October 2001). Three weeks later, when I called them, they said they needed to spend 3 months to give a response.

However, nothing happened until this September (2004), when I decided to send them another letter. I followed up a phone call about 2 weeks later, this time they said they needed 8 weeks.

Thank God, my case was approved in October/2004.

You know what?? Yesterday I received a letter from Senator Schummer at the US Senate, which tells exactly the online message before my approval: "On May 17, 2002, we received your finger prints......."

Can you still expect him to help you? Can you still trust him and vote him for either the Senator or the Governor??
 
Congrats on getting your GC. As for his iimigration department, it would be very apt on your part if you write a mail to him complaining about his immigration department. The people manning that post might be messing up, and he may not be even awatre of this.
 
That is possible, but:

If the Senator had really cared the immigration community, he would have paid attention to the cases like mine and working out his messing staff.

No one cares abt immigrants, immigration is the least priority for them unless you attend their fund raising dinners or be any help for them financially or do fund campaign. Only $$$$$ counts.
