The message changed today and says 570 - 600 days instead of 580 - 610 days! A full 10 days shaved off! What a fantastic performance by BCIS - NOT!! Anyway, back to WWW (Work, Worry and Wait).

For EAD renewal it has gone up : 90 - 120 days
for AP renewal it has gone up : 400 - 430 days

I thought they were postponing Employment based I-485 till the end of Sept.

EAD Renewal 90 - 120 days, god what is this, atleast 10 days is good for I-485.

10 days reduction happened to my case as well. At least it shows that some files are active.

In terms of days, BCIS means WORKING days, not including holidays and weekends. Do we have mathematicians here to help us calculate how many working days we have in a year? Approximately 300 working days???

Weekends 52 * 2 = 104
Xmas = 15
Vacations = 15
Other Holidays = 10
Sick Leaves = 15

Number of Working Days 365 - 159 = 206

It seems a rounding thing

I think some body from BCIS thought 580 to 610 is not an exact multiple of 30.

He/She would like to be smart by changing the numbers an exact multiples of 30.

So they changed the numbers to 570 to 600.

Guys Uncle SAM seems to have some hidden agenda to tight the valve to restrict the employment based immigrants into USA.

That's why training, security, priority, RIR remands lablah lablah .....

Our only choice is to keep the frustration in control to keep good health !!!!!!!!!!

From what I observed, saturdays count as computer working days. In fact, it seems that days that they can cash cheques are the official BCIS computer working days.
