In the link above the backlog reduced from 3.8 m to 3.2 in less than a year...it looks very interesting but hard to belive.

Wish CIS can reduce the cycle time to 6 months in 2006 as in the subtitle of first report, but who can wait till 2006?

In the second report, CIS didn't reach the goal of 20 months for i485 processing in 2004, the processing time even increased, but the EAD processing time is reduced.

since applications reduced, so I think the backlogs is more easier to be reduced
but no detail report on NSC.
