I am working for company A and company B has filed h1b visa transfer for me which has been approved. Now I\'ve decided not to join company B. If company B revokes the petition they filed for me, will there be any immigration implication for me? Thanks.
Without notifying me ( I am glad I didn\'t join them!). Obviously they thought that would hurt me ( would it?). My question is that would my current employer be able to know that I had this thing with company B?
INS cannot keep calling everybody whether somebody joined them or not.. But it will ask you the question when you cross a Port of Entry. So next time you come back from your vacation be ready to prove that you are still employed with company A.
Did it say something like " Mr.H\'s petition with company B was revoked and we want to make sure he is still employed by you" or did it just ask general question like "we want to know whether Mr. H is still employed by you"?
In the case that I was thinking of, we received a letter of intent to revoke the visa because INS had been informed that the person no longer worked for us. I sent in the person\'s paystubs with a letter stating that the person was still employed. I have no idea where INS got this information.
