well am planning to travel outside this month ending and have background check pending would this affect my trave or coming back to state would be problem need advice

If you still have a GC, you should be able to get back in to the country. You need to make sure that someone opens your mail while you are away, and that you can come back in time if you get your interview letter.

If your GC has expired, but it still had 6 months left on it at your priority date, you can take an InfoPass and they'll stamp an I-551 in your passport (it's equivalent to a GC)

Is there any reason why you think you'd have problems?

Well the problem was date of birth l once applied political asylum and the date was 7/7/1959 and won DV LOTTERY almost since 98 l cancelled the asylum and did adjustment with the lottery which had 17/7/1960 l had a affidavite on it but when l appy for citizen that why the FBI inversigating me

How did you find out that's why? Did someone tell you that? I can't get any information on my background check.
