Background Checks Processing time..!

Hi,

I attended an interview at the Local INS Office and the officer told me that my case is pending based on Background clearance check and had that been cleared already today i would have been stamped...


So anybody has any idea on what these background cheks are and how much more time I need to wait....

Prince, my interviewer also told me the same thing. Mine is in Denver. I've posted similar message on this website and one visitor told me that they've been waiting since mid December 02, another one said his 14 year-old kid also still waiting since mid February 03. All of them have similar cases. So, let us know if you have any news...
