Are you referring to the fingerprinting and subsequent checks with the FBI via the submission of your fingerprints?
If you are, what will show up are all arrests and convictions. If you have commited a crime, but you were not arrested - for example, maybe shoplifting where the cops are not called and you are just asked to pay restitution and sign a pledge never to return to the store or any other crimes like lit erring and public urination where you are given a ticket etc. etc. - those won't show up on the finger printing check

In this case, you are supposed to answer Yes to Question 15 of Part 10 D. Good Moral Chracter:"Have you ever committed a crime of offense for which you were not arrested?" but in real life, I doubt anyone does answer Yes
