hi guys
my wife case of 485 was filed in jan 2005 that case was transfered to texas service center .we did complete the bio and medical with texas service center.after that they transfer the case to sanfrancisco asylum office for furhter processing .nothing was going on for last one year even though i wrote them so many times and now i went to congressman and senator they also lodged an inquiry for me now i got a letter stating that processing of your case has been delayed .your case is not ready for decision as the required investigation into your background remains open.untill the background investigation is completed we can move forward on your case.guys i have no idea what background check is please share your experience if you have similiar case

You probably have a name that is a common name so it is taking a while for them to make sure that it is not on any of the watch lists, etc.
