Back near AP expire date?

I have a question. I planned a trip to Asia around Thanksgiving and hope to be back 2 weeks before my Advanced Parole expiration date. If for some reason, I have to stay in Asia for long (may pass the expiration date), how can I come back US? Actually I have applied a new AP by the end of July in CSC, but it seems that the new AP will not come till next January according to current processing speed. Then if this trouble situation happens, how can I come back? Can I apply something in US consulate for my return entry?

Here is my situation:
----------------------------------
My I-140 has been approved last December, I-485 has been pending for more than 1 year, never change employer and always keep legal status, EAD in hand and has been used (no H1-B visa), the second AP application receipt also in hand.
----------------------------------
Your help and suggestions are highly appreciated!

Sincerely Yours
David

---- You should enter US with AP before it expires

----- if AP is expired while you are out of US your I-485 may be abandoned, if you have valid H1 or eligible to get H1visa stamp then you can enter on H1b stamp

---- As you have used EAD you have to enter on valid AP
