Back Ground Check Pending

Am still waiting for my clearanace from the FBI. my question is ,the FBI still Responding email from people like me waiting to hear from them since Feburary of this year l email FBI to check my name check pending ,up to date has been heard.

Have you finished Interview yet? How long are you waiting your name pending?

well l had my Naturalization interview on September 10th.2004 and passed

So you are still waiting for the oath notice after one year of interview?

I guess I am in the name checking group, because I didn't heard anything after my FP. I will go for my infopass appt tomorrow, hopefully I can get some feed back.
 
Name Check Pending

Yes am waiting for my oath letter . l did inforpass last three month and when l went there l was told to did another fingerprint as the old one expire, l did and now waiting to hear good news .

you should not classified yourself as the name checking group until you went thru your interview, and the officer says your background check pending.

it is normal for applicant not hearing anything after FP. But it gets worrying about if you do not hear anything after the interview because it is almost 100% for the name check pending, unless the officer tells you something else.

well what agency sent you the email to notify you your name check has been completed, and if you have the phone do give to call to check mine too thats
 
Hi Guys..

I ve just came back from USCIS office. I made and Infopass appointment to ask why my case is taking longer to be approved than the average of the cases that are being processesing in my Local Office.

They told me that they cannot complete my case in the normal time due my Name check is still pending ( my fingerprints were cleared the same day that i submitted them).

Now its been 3 months since i did my biometrics/fingerprints.


Questions:
1)IS NORMAL THAT THE NAME CHECK IS STILL PENDING 3 MONTHS LATER?
2) WHATS THE AVERAGE TIME TO HAVE YOUR NAME CHECK CLEANED?

I am a guy from south america and have an uncommon german surname.....

Ill appreciate any kind of answers.
