B2 Visa while I-130 petition is pending

Hi Everyone,

I badly needed your help.

I petitioned my wife who is in the Philippines right now (IR1).

Her company will send her here in US for a business trip, but she needs to get a visa first. She's worried because she heard that if there is a pending petition, chances is she will get denied, or even if she gets approval for a tourist visa she might be hold on immigration (port of entry) here in US.

Have anyone here experienced the same way as my wife? Did your petition affect your business travel?

Is there anyone here who can still travel using visit visa even your petition is on process?

It is very likely that she will be denied a B-1 visa. Having said that, one can always try their luck.
