B2 visa sponser US Citizen Vs GC holder

Does it make any difference if the sponsor for parents tourist visa is a US Citizen or a GC card holder? I'm a GC holder. My brother is a US Citizen, who is sponsoring the visa.

It doesn't matter. Your parents must overcome 214(b) on their own, the consulate does not give much weight to sponsors.

B-2 visas are not sponsored by anyone. The applicant qualifies on his/her own. If you are using the word sponsor to describe someone sending an I-134, then it really makes no difference who is sending it.
