B2 Visa restriction on where to enter the US?

If you are in Canada on a Work Permit and get a B2 Visa to the US from Canada. Do you have to enter the US from Canada or can you enter the US from any country, lets say India? Do B2 visas have such restrictions as to only allow entry to the US from the country where you got your B2 Visa?

The reason i'm asking is that i'll be in india during december but would like to come to the US straight from India to complete my trip and then travel back to Canada. Would my B2 visa allow me to travel to the US from India?

Unless annotated, there are no such restrictions on B-2 visas.
