B2 VISA Help

My mother have 10 year multiple entry B2 VISA. Every time she enters USA she gets 6 months stay.

Now my question is after how many days she can reenter USA once she left the USA. Is it possible that she visits canada or mexico for some day and reenters USA.

Pls help Me. Her I-94 is expiring shortly.

Hope this helps. My mother had 10 yr visitor visa. She came to US in June, 1998 stayed here for 6 months and went back Dec that year. After 6 months she came back in Jun, 99 and this time she applied for extension and stayed in US till Jun, 2000.

She flew to JFK in Nov, 2000 ( 3 months gap) and the INS guys gave her a tough time at the port of entry. They said that as she was spending most of her time in US she is not a visitor which is against the Visitor visa guidelines. After couple of hours of detaining they let her get into US for only 3 months

Therefore I think it is better to give some extra time between visits so that your parents are saved from the hassles at port of entry.
