B2 Visa for parents.. How many days for processing

Hi,

Can you please tell me for how long is the visitor visa generally issued these days at Chennai consultate. Is it for 6 months, 1 year, 10 years. Do they issue 6 month visa too.
My parents just got the visa, but we are not sure for how many days as we are waiting to receive the passport.
How many days do they usually take to process an visa and for us to receive it, if its approved today.

No one can speculate accurately. It all depends on how generous the consul was when adjudicating. Congrats on the success though.
