B2 to F1. Is B2 still valid?

Hello,
My situation is simple:
I have 10 year B1/2 visa. One Year ago I have changed the status to F1 and after 7 months left the USA without noticing the school. Now I want to come back, but I don't know is my B1/B2 long term visa with multiple entries still valid? Just worrying about the problems with USA customs. Can anyone help to understand is my situation really bad?
 
i think you haveno visa now so u have to apply for the visa again.because you can hold only a single visa at a time and once you convert from one visa to another you will lose the previous visa
 
You can hold multiple visas , but you can stay in the US on one visa status .

Your B2 is still valid , provided you have not been out of status which could lead to a 3/5/10 year bar from entering the US .

i have b2 visa for five years & right now i m in usa so is it possible to change my status to f1?? & i have visa from 21 st june to 21 december of '06 so is there any chance ? my loyer told me that i have to start my school before my visa will expire .. so is it true or is there any solution ? i m trying to get addmission in community colleage & they told me that they give me addmission but the school will start from february ,so may i joined the school or not ? & what can i do to change my status ?

You have to apply for a change of status . Your best bet is to get some legal advice . I would recommend an Infopass appointment if you want to save some money .

You must leave the US before your I-94 expires . If you happen to be out of status , you will be in hot water .
