Hi friends,
I applied an extension of stay for my parents with B2 visitor visa. The
extension was denied and they will leave the country tomorrow. Besides
leaving immediately, is there anything else they need to do?
From immihelp website, I see the following paragraph:
If your extension is denied, following docs need to be sent to USCIS
after you exit the country after an extension denial:
Original denial letter
Original boarding pass
copy of biographical page of passport
copy of entry stamp in new country
Letter saying that applicant overstayed because he/she was awaiting
decision on extension application.
Applicant should carry copies of all above documents on his/her next visit to US.
This seems to be the only resource saying that I need to mail USCIS
these documents after they go back to China. Is this necessary? I feel
better for them to keep these original documents on their next visit to
US.
Thanks a lot!
